It Started with a Love for Birds
My name is Thia, and for as long as I can remember, I’ve been deeply committed to protecting wildlife and the environment.
But it wasn’t until several decades ago that I discovered birdwatching — first in my own backyard, and then across the country. From spring migrations at High Island to the hawk watches of Cape May, I’ve spent years marveling at the beauty and complexity of birdlife.
That passion inspired me to create Swooply — a shop where bird lovers can wear their passion proudly and connect with others who feel the same.

Birding isn’t just a hobby — it’s part of our daily rhythm. Whether it’s filling the feeder before coffee or pulling over to spot something rare, these small moments shape how we see the world.
Swooply celebrates those rituals. Each design is created with meaning and intended to spark a smile, a memory, or a conversation.
